How Our Mobile Showroom Works in Spring Valley

Picking window coverings from a catalog photo rarely goes well. Light changes the color of every fabric, and Spring Valley's west-facing rooms get a lot of it. So we bring the samples to you:

  1. We look at each window: which way it faces, what's outside, and how much privacy the room needs.
  2. We show blind, shade, shutter, and solar screen samples right at the glass.
  3. We measure every opening, including sliders, arches, and two-story windows.
  4. You get a written quote. We price after measuring, since cost depends on sizes and the products you choose.

Installation follows when your order comes in. You're also welcome to stop by the central store on S Valley View Blvd.

About Spring Valley

Spring Valley is an unincorporated town in Clark County, about 2 miles west of the Strip. It had 215,597 residents at the 2020 census. Its main boundaries are Sahara Ave on the north, Decatur Blvd on the east, Warm Springs Rd on the south, and Hualapai Way on the west. That covers a lot of ground and a wide mix of home styles.

The Spring Mountain Rd corridor between Las Vegas Blvd and Rainbow Blvd was designated as Las Vegas Chinatown in 1999, and it runs along the north side of the town.

Rhodes Ranch Window Coverings

Rhodes Ranch is a master-planned golf community in southwest Spring Valley, about six miles southwest of the Strip. It was announced in 1996 on roughly 1,330 acres. Homes here often look out on the golf course or the mountains to the west, so the usual question is how to stop afternoon glare without losing the view.

  • Golf course and view windows: solar shades cut glare and keep the view. Darker fabrics tend to give the clearest view out.
  • Street-facing rooms: plantation shutters look tidy from the curb and handle privacy well.
  • Exterior screens: if your community has an HOA, check its rules on exterior products and colors before ordering solar screens.

Spring Valley Homes: Sun and Window Choices

The National Weather Service Las Vegas climate summary describes long, hot summers. West and south windows take the worst of it in the afternoon.

  • Heat: exterior solar screens stop sun before it hits the glass. The DOE Building America Solution Center explains why outside shading usually blocks more solar heat.
  • Glare: solar shades indoors, often motorized on west windows so they drop before the sun does.
  • Bedrooms: blackout cellular or roller shades.
  • Sliding doors: if your old vertical blinds are worn out, replace them with new verticals, panel tracks, or shutters on a track.
  • Kids at home: go cordless or motorized. The CPSC recommends cordless window coverings where young children live.
